Wreckless Abandon (Rostarr)

Today OV planned to visit the gallery called Our House West of Wynwood(Nw 31st & 7th Ave)because they had an exhibition. Not just any exhibition I might add, but the exhibition of the famous line composition artist known as Rostarr(Rostarr.com).Rostarr is an Ny artist of Korean descent his real name is Romon Kimin Yang.He heavily works in the medium of line and ink. Each stroke he puts down on canvas is effective and carries a certain emotion in it.With that being said we had to see it for ourselves. Our original intent was to ride the bus there but that went wrong. We ended up waiting almost two hours at a bus top with no seats waiting for a bus that never showed up!!!! R.homme and I decided to walk just like our previous endeavors. Many, many, many blocks later we finally reached NW 31st & 7th ave but the gallery was nowhere to be found! We were already beaten down by the sun and are thirsts needed quenching but we carried on.We scanned up and down 7th ave. for more hours. We eventually found it.Evidently there was a discrepency in the address the gallery was located on the corner of 32nd st..!!!!! (O.H.W.O.W. needs to correct that.) Although our walk was long and arduous, we were rewarded with visual treasures...check em out'
The fee book we were given from the exihibition...
Our House West of Wynwood Located on 32nd street!!!! ugggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol Skillful_k At the bus stop R.homme takin' the pic

R.homme back at ya. we got bored waiting on the bus.

R.homme hugged up with a beautiful host Tammy. She provided us with extensive knowledge on the art scene in Miami and even provided us locations for our next adventure.
R.Homme was still exhausted by our walk...lol
Lines by themselves can create an image and shape.
Hello kitty orgy???? hmmmm?
R.homme really likes red...

these pieces here have a magical mystical feel to it.

This place is really vast and awesome Rostarr painted that huge canvas. He has alot of time on his hands.

Kaws is Originally from New Jersey, but he resides in New York. I felt proud (lol). Kaws visualizes his work as a sieve of modern culture; an assimilation, distillation and dissemination of thoughts, art, ideas, collaborations, and interactions with people.

S.BEACH PART 3

Today OV finally went to an art Gallery!!! While searching on the internet we heard there was an Art gallery exhibit going on at Lincoln Road in S.Beach. The gallery did not just exhibit any kind of art ,but the art of an artist by the name of Romero Britto!!!!....I've never heard of him however , his art consist of geometric shapes that resemble cutsy pictures Overdosed in color.(dang it nearly burned my Retinas lol).R.homme and I also had another mission; we had to go pick up R.homme's new frames from the glasses shop cleverly called S.E.E. (Selective Eyewear Elements) Lucky enough we were able to kill two birds with one stone because they were right next to eachother.(the gallery and glasses store...) while on our way we met superheroes and Ninjas lol check it out.... This is the Romero Britto Brochure that we got at the gallery It talks about his most recent endeavor in designinging a Pyramid to commemorate the return of king Tut back to London after 35 years.

Thats a picture of Britto in the middle...

His sculptures are very lively....R.homme feels threatened lol

Bowl of fruit sculpture....Britto's interpretation....

Yo can you believe this Newspaper art cost over $20,000??!!!!!!! People can make money from anythin now a days...-_-
